Interested in working with Glantreo

“There is no I in team” …. Michael Jordan

You have read about us on a different part of the website so I won’t bore you with more details about how we are growing, how innovative we are as a company and how we are a good vibe company.

If you can answer below question correctly then you should look at the list of current vacancies we have.

Question: Which of these statements are correct?

  • Customer is king
  • Cash is king
  • Product is king
  • Innovation is king

If you think, “ALL” but to varying degrees and depending on context and perspective then talk to us. If you have had to think too much about it or think “NONE” then you are on the wrong website.

When you look at the vacancies and if you don’t see a vacancy that you like or you think we should hire you for something else then email us on info@glantreo.com.

Funded Research Masters

Glantreo is a dynamic company that specialises in the development and manufacture of innovative nano-featured materials. The applications for our materials include chromatography, diagnostic, drug delivery, energy, as well as biological applications. In partnership with the Solid State Pharmaceutical Cluster (SSPC) we are offering a funded Research Masters position in University College Cork.

Project Title: Novel materials, chemistries and products for separations including sample preparation, HPLC and SEC.

The team, as a whole, would be focused on:

  1. Creating new variations of Glantreo’s existing materials platforms (SOLAS, EIROSHELL & SOLAD) for specific applications and products. For example, this be a larger pore size for bio-separations or particle size.
  2. Adding new chemistries to existing materials or adding existing chemistries to new materials.
  3. Packing these new materials into end-product formats. This could be HPLC columns or sample prep cartridges.
  4. Testing the end products. This will involve usage of equipment such as HPLC UV-vis, Mass Spec and SEC/GPC equipment.

This is not a ‘stand alone’ piece of work but critically working as part of the team and could have a role to play in all of the above. Apart from the exposure to significant technical knowledge, the Masters student would gain experience of bringing a product from R&D to Product Launch in an ISO certified environment.
